JJ Scientific is constantly making its best efforts to safely protect customers' personal information.

Chapter 4. Methods of Consent for Personal Information Collection and Use

1. When collecting customers' personal information, we inform customers about the purpose of personal information collection and use, third-party provision, and consignment in accordance with relevant legal provisions or notify them through consent.
2. Customers can consent to personal information collection and use through the following methods:
a. Signing the 'Personal Information Collection, Use, and Consignment Consent Form' attached to service subscription, use, and change applications
b. Receiving direct guidance on consent content from consultants through call centers and other phone calls, confirming, and expressing consent
c. Confirming the consent content of the 'Privacy Policy' posted on the company website and various family sites, then clicking directly

Chapter 5. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

JJ Scientific retains and uses customers' personal information during the period of service provision or dispute processing. However, when there are special legal provisions, we retain information according to relevant laws.

Chapter 6. Sharing and Provision of Personal Information

JJ Scientific uses customers' personal information only for the intended purpose and does not provide it to external parties in principle. However, the following cases are exceptions:
a. When there is prior customer consent
b. When there are special provisions in relevant laws
c. When there are requests from investigative agencies according to procedures and methods specified by law for investigative purposes

Chapter 7. Consignment of Personal Information Processing

1. JJ Scientific consigns personal information processing tasks for efficient service operation and manages consignees to comply with relevant laws through agreements, etc.

Chapter 8. Personal Information Destruction Procedures and Methods

JJ Scientific destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved in principle. Destruction procedures and methods are as follows:
1. Destruction Procedures
a. Information provided (input) by customers for service subscription, etc., is moved to a separate DB (or separate document box for paper documents) after the purpose of use is achieved and destroyed after storage for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant legal reasons for information protection (refer to retention and use period).
b. Destruction Target: Customer information whose retention period and preservation period according to relevant laws have ended
2. Destruction Methods
a. Personal information written and printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration
b. Personal information stored in electronic file format such as DB is deleted using technical methods that make reproduction impossible

Chapter 9. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise

Customers can request access to and correction of personal information at any time or withdraw consent for collection, use, consignment, or provision of personal information.
For personal information access and correction, click 'Personal Information Change' (or Customer Information Modification), and for membership termination (consent withdrawal), click 'Member Withdrawal' and go through identity verification procedures to access, correct, and withdraw.
1. Personal Information Access Confirmation or Correction
a. Customers can request access confirmation of personal information by visiting the company directly or through phone, email, etc.
b. When customers request access confirmation of their personal information, we verify identity by requesting identity verification documents that can prove the customer's identity.
c. When a customer's representative requests access confirmation, we verify whether the person is a representative by requesting documents such as a power of attorney showing the representative relationship, the principal customer's seal certificate, and the representative's identity certificate.
d. When customers request correction of personal information errors, we do not use or provide the personal information until correction is completed. Also, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to third parties, we will notify the third parties of the correction processing results without delay to ensure correction.
2. Withdrawal of Consent for Personal Information Collection, Use, or Provision
a. Customers can selectively withdraw consent for personal information collection, use, consignment, or provision by visiting the company with the identity documents mentioned in paragraph 1 'b' above.
b. If you contact the relevant service manager or the company's personal information protection officer by phone or email, we will take action without delay.
※ However, withdrawal of consent for collection and use of essential information necessary for service provision is an exception.
c. The company processes terminated and deleted personal information according to customer requests as specified in the retention and use period and ensures it cannot be used for other purposes.

Chapter 10. Protection of Children's Personal Information

1. JJ Scientific does not allow children under 14 years of age to register as members.

Chapter 11. Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Personal Information Automatic Collection Devices

JJ Scientific operates 'Cookies' to find and store customer information when necessary for homepage operation.
Cookies are very small text files sent by the server used to operate the company's website to the customer's browser and are stored on the customer's computer hard disk.
Customers can decide whether to allow or refuse information collection through cookies through their web browser's security policy.

Chapter 12. Technical and Administrative Protection Measures for Personal Information

JJ Scientific has prepared the following technical and administrative measures to ensure security so that customers' personal information is not lost, stolen, leaked, falsified, or damaged:

a. Personal information is protected by passwords, and important data is protected through separate security functions.
b. We take measures to prevent damage from viruses using antivirus programs and regularly update antivirus programs.
2. Administrative Protection Measures
a. JJ Scientific has prepared procedures necessary for managing and accessing customers' personal information and regularly manages them so that employees can understand and comply with them.
b. JJ Scientific limits those who can process customers' personal information to the minimum and manages access rights, and provides education on personal information protection obligations to ensure compliance with laws and policies. Those who process customers' personal information are as follows:
① Those who perform marketing tasks by directly or indirectly dealing with customers
② Those who perform related tasks such as personal information protection officers and personal information protection managers
③ Others for whom personal information processing is unavoidable for business purposes
c. We prevent information leakage by employees in advance by having all employees sign internal security pledges, regularly remind them of personal information protection obligations, and have prepared and implemented internal procedures to monitor compliance.
d. Work handover of personal information processors is thoroughly conducted in a secure state, and responsibility for personal information breach incidents after employment and resignation is clearly defined.

f. The company is not responsible for incidents that occur due to customer's personal mistakes or basic internet risks.

Terms of Service

Article 1. Purpose

These Terms of Service are established for the purpose of regulating the terms and conditions of use and operation of the services provided by "JJ Scientific" (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").

Article 2. Definition of Terms

The definitions of major terms used in these Terms are as follows:
① Member: A person who has agreed to the Site's terms, provided personal information, registered as a member, entered into a service agreement with the Site, and uses the Site.
② Service Agreement: An agreement concluded between the Site and a member regarding the use of the Site.
③ Member ID (hereinafter "ID"): A unique combination of letters and numbers assigned to each member for identification and service use.
④ Password: A combination of letters and numbers selected by a member to confirm that the member matches the assigned ID and to protect the member's rights and interests.
⑤ Operator: A person who establishes and operates a homepage for the service.
⑥ Termination: The cancellation of a service agreement by a member.

Article 3. Rules Outside the Terms

The operator may announce and guide separate operational policies when necessary, and when these Terms and operational policies overlap, the operational policies take precedence.

Article 4. Conclusion of Service Agreement

① A service agreement is established by the operator's approval of use upon agreement to these Terms and application for membership by a person who wishes to register as a member and use the Site.
② A person who wishes to register as a member and use the service indicates their agreement to these Terms by reading these Terms and selecting "I Agree" below when applying for Site membership.

Article 5. Service Use Application

① A user who wishes to register as a member and use the Site must provide all information requested by the Site (user ID, password, nickname, etc.).
② A member who has not registered their true information, such as by stealing others' information or registering false information, cannot claim any rights related to Site use and may be punished according to relevant laws.

Article 6. Privacy Policy

The Site and operator do not possess passwords among the personal information provided during membership registration, and related matters follow the Site's privacy policy.
The operator strives to protect members' personal information, including member registration information, in accordance with relevant laws.
Matters concerning member privacy protection follow relevant laws and the privacy policy established by the Site.
However, the operator bears no responsibility for information exposed due to the member's fault.
When a member registers or distributes illegal posts that violate public morals or national security, the operator may access member data and submit such data to relevant agencies upon their request.

Article 7. Operator's Obligations

① When the operator recognizes that opinions or complaints raised by users are legitimate, they must process them as quickly as possible. However, when rapid processing is difficult due to personal circumstances, they do their best by posting notices afterward or sending messages or emails to users.
② The operator may request the Site to repair or restore equipment without delay when malfunctions or losses occur for continuous and stable Site provision. However, Site operation may be temporarily suspended in case of natural disasters or unavoidable circumstances for the Site or operator.

Article 8. Member's Obligations

① Members must comply with matters stipulated in these Terms, various regulations, notices, and operational policies established by the operator, matters announced by the Site, and relevant laws, and must not engage in acts that interfere with Site business or damage the Site's reputation.
② Members cannot transfer or donate service use rights or other positions under the service agreement to others without the Site's explicit consent, nor can they provide them as collateral.
③ Users must pay considerable attention to ID and password management and cannot allow third parties to use their IDs without the operator's or Site's consent.
④ Members must not infringe on the intellectual property rights of the operator, Site, or third parties.

Article 9. Service Use Hours

① Service use hours are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, in principle, unless there are special business or technical obstacles. However, the Site may temporarily suspend service on dates or times determined by the Site for regular system inspections, expansions, and replacements, and scheduled service suspensions are announced in advance on the Site's homepage, so please check frequently.
② However, the Site may temporarily or permanently suspend service without prior notice in the following cases:
- Cases of urgent system inspection, expansion, replacement, failure, or malfunction
- Cases of unavoidable circumstances such as national emergencies, power outages, or natural disasters
- Cases where telecommunications service providers specified in the Telecommunications Business Act suspend telecommunications services
- Cases where normal service use is hindered due to service overload
③ In case of service suspension under the preceding paragraph, the Site notifies members through notices, etc. However, when prior notice is impossible due to circumstances beyond the Site's control, post-notice is provided instead.

Article 10. Service Use Termination

① When a member wishes to terminate their service agreement with the Site, they must apply for termination registration online. Meanwhile, termination of the service agreement with the Site must be done separately from Site use termination.
② Upon termination application, Site-related programs provided by the Site are automatically deleted from the member management screen, so the operator can no longer view the termination applicant's information.

Article 11. Service Use Restrictions

Members must not engage in the following acts, and when such acts are committed, the Site may restrict member service use and take appropriate measures, terminate the service agreement, or suspend service for a specified period:
① Acts of registering false content during membership registration or information changes after registration
② Acts of interfering with others' Site use or stealing information
③ Acts of impersonating Site operators, employees, or related personnel
④ Acts of infringing on personality rights or intellectual property rights of the Site or other third parties or interfering with business
⑤ Acts of fraudulently using other members' IDs
⑥ Acts of collecting, storing, or disclosing other members' personal information without their consent
⑦ Acts objectively determined to be related to crime
⑧ Other acts that violate relevant laws

Article 12. Post Management

① The operator is responsible for managing and operating the Site's posts and materials. The operator must always monitor inappropriate posts and materials, and when inappropriate posts and materials are discovered or reported, they must delete such posts and materials and warn the member who registered them.
Meanwhile, members are responsible for posts they upload, so members should not post content that violates these Terms.
② When public institutions such as the Information and Communication Ethics Committee request corrections, the operator may delete or move posts without prior member consent.
③ Criteria for determining inappropriate posts are as follows:
- Content that severely insults or damages the reputation of other members or third parties
- Content that disseminates or links to material that violates public order and morals
- Content that encourages illegal reproduction or hacking
- Advertising for commercial purposes
- Content objectively recognized as related to crime
- Content that infringes on copyrights or other rights of other users or third parties
- Other cases determined to violate relevant laws
④ When the Site and operator receive requests to suspend posts due to defamation or intellectual property rights infringement by third parties, they may temporarily suspend posts (transmission suspension), and when lawsuits, settlements, or decisions by relevant agencies are made between the suspension requester and post registrant and submitted to the Site, they follow such decisions.

Article 13. Post Storage

When the Site operator must suspend the Site due to unavoidable circumstances, they notify members in advance and strive to take all measures to facilitate post migration.

Article 14. Copyright of Posts

① Copyright of posts posted by members on the Site belongs to the posting member. The Site cannot commercially use posts without the poster's consent. However, this does not apply to non-commercial purposes, and the Site has the right to post within the service.
② Members cannot commercially use materials posted on the service, such as arbitrarily processing or selling information obtained through service use.
③ The operator may delete, move, or reject registration of content posted or registered by members on the Site without prior notice when it is determined to correspond to each item of Article 12.

Article 15. Compensation for Damages

① All civil and criminal liability arising from this Site is primarily the responsibility of the member.
② Compensation for damages is not provided when damages received by members from this Site are due to force majeure such as natural disasters or due to the member's intent or negligence.

Article 16. Exemption

① The operator is exempt from liability for damages arising from members not obtaining expected benefits from Site service provision or from selection or use of service materials.
② The operator is exempt from liability for cases caused by service infrastructure failures or telecommunications service failures provided by other telecommunications operators, and damages related to this Site's service infrastructure follow the Site's Terms of Service.
③ The operator bears no responsibility for materials stored, posted, or transmitted by members.
④ The operator is not responsible for service use failures caused by the member's fault.
⑤ The operator bears no responsibility for all activities between members or between members and third parties, regardless of inside or outside this service (including data transmission and other community activities).
⑥ The operator is not responsible for the authenticity, reliability, accuracy, etc., of materials posted or transmitted by members and all materials that members can receive from this Site.
⑦ The operator bears no responsibility for all damages arising from transactions between members or between members and third parties through the service.
⑧ The operator bears no responsibility for all disputes arising between members or between members and third parties without the operator's fault.
⑨ The operator bears no responsibility for member damages caused by system failures that may occur during server equipment management, inspection, maintenance, replacement processes, or software operation processes without intent or gross negligence equivalent to intent, system failures due to third-party attacks, computer virus propagation for which response methods have not been developed by domestic and foreign renowned research institutions or security-related companies, or other force majeure circumstances beyond the operator's control.

Supplementary Provisions

These Terms take effect from <Site establishment date>.
